Cherry Floor Clock From Brittany (Rennes)
Second Quarter 19th Century, (circa 1830) Cherry Floor Clock from Brittany (Rennes). The bonnet or pediment of the clock as well as the base features carved scrollwork which frames the glass and base. There are two easy side access panels with glass at the top. The body of the clock presents a stylized shell motif with cartouche, floral and vines design. Below a diamond shape. Pendulum needs an extension. Sold as is. 90"X 18"X13"
